Progress Gets Deleted

So I felt like playing a bit of Rainbow Six Vegas today but when all the sudden when I got on all of my progress got removed.. All my ranks, A.C.E.S ranks, you name it, all gone. If anyone else had this issue, please back me up and tell me how to fix this.

Sorry to see you're having issues with your save!

Are you signed in with the same Ubisoft account you usually use?

Could you also please try using the Windows Backup system[support.microsoft.com] to locate your save?

Your save should be in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Ubisoft\R6Vegas2 ~

no way a developer replied to this post does this matter anyway ive read that the servers are all shut down and thats why everyone on the game cant login and keep getting operation failed. Unless you know how to fix the login also the berry

I have the same problem. Sometimes when I'm playing around with character appearance, I will lose all progress and lose access to all the gear that I unlocked. It doesn't happen every time, but that does seem to be when it happens to me. I noticed that in my documents folder for the game that I had three different profile DAT files. I copied the Profile1 file since it looked like it was updated prior to the issue based on the timestamp. If I take out the other profile files and leave Profile1, it still takes away my progress. If I copy the Profile 1 file from desktop and copy it back into the game folder and rename it to the name of the most recent save file, I still cannot regain my progress. Is there anything I can do to regain my progress? What goes wrong when resetting appearance that erases all progress?
