PSA: GETTING YOUR CONTROLLER TO WORK
Seeing a lot of topics about this. Like, a ridiculous amount. Here's a simple fix.

Enable gamepad support in the game's main menu options...
Yup, that's it. If you have trouble finding this, look under Extras and then Options.

If you're using a Playstation controller I recommend the software "SCP Toolkit". It's a free program that basically allows you to install drivers for dualshock 3 and 4; tricking your computer into thinking you're using an Xbox 360 pad.

We need to do this because Playstation controllers aren't supported on PC. :bernie:

I know, it's dumb. Microsoft likes money or something idk.

And about SCP. Don't ask me how to use the software. There's plenty of tutorials and walkthroughs online which explain things much better than me. I'm a big stupid dummy. :bernie:

TLDR

go to game settings and enable 360 pad option.
If you use a PS3 or PS4 pad use SCP Toolkit.
If using a generic or steam controller, configure it through steam first.

Also, I hear using Big Picture Mode in Steam fixed "problems" for people. Or something.

LECTURE WARNING; In future, checking the available in-game options/settings should be the first thing you do when you get a new game or have an issue. I get so A N G E R Y :csdmad: when games don't start with a main menu or chance to change options.

Thanks for reading nerds. :mylove:

I will bump this for great justice. I use a 360 controller and is no issues for me, but it might help others.
