Lack of healing though I have to say that is only in the beginning. Sure there are (as far as I've noticed.) no health potions. I have found, relatively quick, a lifesteal element for your skills and a healing for consecutive basic attacks. Healing on tornado ticks pretty decent but the crown hat for light attacks heals really rapidly.
I think it would be a decent enough time though from what I played in the demo, there are better co-op games out there though. Obviously it also depends on what you and the kid like and such
It's not like this is a souls game where you only fall to your death from making dumb mistakes.
Also with so many copy paste enemies that take so many hits to kill yet offer very little challenge, but will follow you over the entire map, the run back becomes incredibly tedious.
Just walked into the first boss fight with no visual indication whatsoever that it would be a boss fight. Somehow i went from a cosy looking glade with a totem to a big arena with an angry boss. Now my gems or whatever are stuck in the boss fight so i cant use them to level up to make the boss fight easier.
This game lacks the nuanced design decisions that make games like dark souls challenging but fun and rewarding. So far it's just frustrating.
