Should you really feel bad, though? He did spend the whole time eating other things, some just like him, and he ended up as food himself.

That's a good point, I guess I just the portrayal of it with the noise made you feel empathy for him and it just hung long enough to make it a hint. If it would of just dropped down on him and not make noise it'd definitely would of been a more circle of life ending vs empathy.

Would just like to point out it's rather peculiar that the larger creature is included there with you in the end, and could possibly prevent the crusher from completely smooshing you.
