Graphics settings any time soon?

The Med settings are basically unusable because as far as I can remember '90s titles had better graphics than this. At High the picture is more or less passable (still looks like it's '90s all over again), but the frame rate drops to around 40 fps and probably fluctuates wildly, because it's perceived as being lower than 20 fps.

No idea how you managed to squeeze such an abysmal performance from it when even Microsoft Flight Simulator on relatively high settings seems to be doing fine, and it can hardly be called an "optimization masterpiece".

Also, the constantly popping up "can't find the controller" nag-screen is absolutely maddening. I did configure my Thrustmaster T.16000M HOTAS in the config files anyway, so it works just fine and that thing doesn't have to get into my face telling me otherwise. And no, I'm not going to switch to an XBox controller just because you think that's the right way to control a bike (I don't even have a gamepad to begin with).

One more also. Just when will I be able to make the headcam the default camera already? Not only you put cameras switching on the 'O' key for whatever reason and I had to hunt it down, I have to switch to my preferred 1st person view every time I start a session? Do you guys actually care about your playerbase? It's been how many months since the release exactly and you did absolutely nothing to make it a less horrible experience.

And you know what? That's a real pity. Because underneath there seems to be a good sim hidden somewhere.

Yes it is the same for me performance is realy poor, this stops me from playing it.
I did create a thread about this on their website, but 0,0 response.

Well, sims are not games - their life-cycle is as much differing to a game's as they are more serious in intent and execution. But that kind of an attitude towards the end user is terribly disappointing. Even more so because as far as I can remember, this project itself was born out of disappointment with Piboso's GP Bikes. It's hard to even start expressing all the irony of that...

I just hope it's not another "gRally - the RBR killer", only with bikes.

I just tried again after latest update and performance is stil very poor.

Strange thing is, in my case the game is running better on *ULTIMATE* as it does for example on *MED* settings 🤔

Interesting... I didn't try driving around, but just starting at Nordschleife with different options showed that only Low would make a difference. Every other setting appeared the same and also yielded similar results including the fps difference between the default and onboard cameras (the drop from 43-44 to 40-41 fps after switching to first person).

What CPU you have got ?
because the 40-41 FPS is also the best i get.

I only used their original tracks for now for testing (not he modded ones)

i5-4690 (not exactly top notch these days, I know) and a GTX970 @ 1440p.

Modded ones? Is there a lot of those? The Nordschleife comes bundled with TDR itself - that's what I used, since it's currently the closest to the type of track I need.

Which one is Nordschleife? I don't see it. There are cremona, tdr world circuit, italin ring and mugello right now officialy.

I have 15 different tracks available in the menu and I don't remember installing any mods (maybe one at most).
Are you on the build 1.0.85.15?

My bad. I searched through my HDD and indeed found about ten or so track mods, including Nordschleife.

Funny thing is that I remember looking for mods and finding some obscure track that I was not particularly interested in, then I gave up. Looks like I made another attempt after that, but forgot I did... So, yes, that does not really count. Need to try Cremona instead or TDR WC.
Edit: 7 tracks and 2 bikes.

I must be missing something... just got new PC (RYZEN 9 5900 X) Etc Etc and game is still running slow....
I did post something about this when i was running it on my old PC which had an old CPU.
But now it is running like crap...
what do i mis in settings ??? .

BTW,
This desktop is running every game i threw at it so far at *ULTRA*
