Life By You is a game developed by Paradox, the same publisher that created City Skylines and it killed Sim City. I expect this game to do much of the same to The Sims franchise. Former Maxis and Sims team creative directors and employees are working on this game, so it is completely legit, backed by a legit company and established developers. The creators had a live stream on March 20th. The game is already available for Early Access pre-orders that will be released in mid September THIS YEAR.

It's fake, there's no updates or info for a game people are supposedly paying to fund. It's a scam with a bunch of cute animations. I hope it is real for those who contributed real money, but that's a major red flag for a game that was supposed to come out in 2022 with no new game-play footage, no announcements, not even a "Hey guys. things are taking longer that it should." Instead of holding out hope for a big fat scam, look forward to Paralives and Life By You, which has a ton of info and a live stream posted already. Life By You is slated for early access this September and it's being touted as the most modifiable life sim ever.

Tbh I’d still buy this bc of the graphics. I like the more realistic details and customization options they have. I just truly hope they learned from the sims players and know what NOT to do

Hello, take your time to offer us a game that is as close to perfection as possible: technically clean, with enough content.

Launching successfully is important, as poor initial reviews can break your momentum.

Do not give in to the pressure exerted by certain players. If the game interests them today, it will be the same tomorrow.

Better to release a good game tomorrow than a sloppy one today.

The first evaluations will condition the sales.

Nobody ever said that this game is dead (at least I've never read anything about it being dead), it's just the impression of mike and some other players. It may be dead but it may also be released one day, there have never been any informations on this, so there are still chances it might release one day.
