How to get down into dry riverbeds?
Got some nice methane deposits and build space down in the riverbeds, but roads seem to have a serious issues going that far down. I don't know how to measure elevation but it's a pretty serious ravine, maybe 20 "blocks" deep?

Anyway, I've tried zig-zagging roads, tried using the road elevation tool to build incremental bridges, etc.

Just wondering if there's a simple trick I've not noticed.

Thank you in advance.

You need to place a short road and move one of the road node to the riverbeds

I'd use pipes or the gondola, that's what the gondola even exists for, even if it is expensive.

Tried that, said it needs a straight connection?

Also will buildings get workers even if they're not connected to the main town?

I dunno what to tell you, I loaded up the game and both worked for me. Maybe you didn't have the gondola in the right direction? Pipes are also super easy to use here. Also, workers are just teleported to work, no connection needed.

I use a gondola just fine - it probably the way you placed it - put the top one just up to the edge and the bottom one next to the edge but back until the cables are not red - it's a bit hard to see, but if you look for it, you will see it,

also, I had a little fight with getting a road down from the top of the hill containing the uranium to the lower one and I managed to get it - I'll post pictures next time I play

This method worked, thanks.

Built a road to the edge of the ravine, then "moved" the road to the riverbed. I was able to use the elevation tools to raise the road a bit off the ground and make the slope less severe, and was able to take it from there.

Cheers, all.

I will try the gondola next, since I figure I should know how to use it haha.
