Chicken Invaders 1 Remaster / Episode 1 separate game incoming?

First of all, I'd like to thank the devs for the update, having a separate version of the older games with the newer engine while still retaining the original is a blessing. Though, considering the older games were also added as DLCs for this game (Episodes) in the in-game store, does that mean we might get a remaster for the first game as a separate Steam game? If not, is there a possibility to add the episodes as DLCs inside the Steam Store for this game as well rather than only being available in the in-game store?

The first episode is planned to be released as a separate game in Steam to fit with the rest of the series and to make exporting to Universe possible, but unlike the original CI1 and fairly recent CI1 Remastered it won't be free here as it'll still contain all the bonuses and enhancements which made it to the other (new) episodes.

Oh, wonderful, that's exactly what I was expecting, thanks a lot for the news! And I didn't know there was a recent CI1 remaster, just discovered it in the forums thanks to your pointer.
