If you already checked your router's settings and found that there's no option to switch the NAT type, then take a look at the Forcing a UDP port[forum.chickeninvaders.com] part of the multiplayer forum topic. If you can't do any of this either, then I'm afraid you're SOL.
That all doesn't quite make sense for me - everyone who has invited me in other games could play with me and vice versa. The only problems were guys who live too far away from me and then I was still connecting with them, albeit at heavy ping.
