How to fix Multiplayer?

Now I tried using that 1.1.1.1. or whatever. I tried to configure my router. None seemed to work. Installs, uninstalls, settings, resettings, restarts, etc., non, no, no, NO!!!!! I am getting really tired of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after wasted so much time. I wonder if that has been someone's cr4ppy idea or it's just the Dev's inability to configure a real multiplayer. And I think people unable to join 90-99% of the sessions are way more than the stated percentages. Now I am not going to throw the game a negative review, but, really, I need a fast and simple step-by step solution or I might end up just abandoning this weirdo coop and mb the game as well in the end.

This is how peer to peer connection works. Essentially, to simplify, the host's computer acts as the de facto server. Since there is no dedicated server that each player connects to that handles everything, NAT can limit your ability to connect with other players.

If you already checked your router's settings and found that there's no option to switch the NAT type, then take a look at the Forcing a UDP port[forum.chickeninvaders.com] part of the multiplayer forum topic. If you can't do any of this either, then I'm afraid you're SOL.

I tried a bunch of things, vpns, trying to set my router (looks like there's no way to configure mine), setting ip's and whatever... After this headache I'm giving the CI series a pause. I don't understand why should unreachable games be even visible to me like that.
That all doesn't quite make sense for me - everyone who has invited me in other games could play with me and vice versa. The only problems were guys who live too far away from me and then I was still connecting with them, albeit at heavy ping.
