Well you can play multiplayer, but you can't play 2 players on the same computer. If your callsign is set, there's a choice to fly a mission as a multiplayer one before flying it. Click it and set your multiplayer mode. It can be either public, contacts only, or a private one with a password.

I am trying to play this game with my daughter using a different computer. We are sharing a common mobile hotspot. However, we cannot see each other in multiplayer. Any assistance for this matter?
