How to play assassins creed 1 with ps4 controller

i have been having trouble paying ac1 with my ps4 controller. I don't want to buy a x box 1 controller to play this game but i i have found a solution. If u download the ds4 windows program u can map the buttons to the keyboard controls (e.g X= Space bar) doing this will be able to make u play with a ps4 controller. The only con is that in the tutorial mode it will show as PC controls but that's not a big deal.I Hope i helped any one with this post and send comments if u have any problems thank u

Edit: you dont need ds4 windows.Just use steam big mode and change controls there

i tried many times going into big picture but my mind blew up. ps4 controller mapping for AC's, it works on Syndacate and i think also on the others. For example you are using a ps4 controller, but the game uses xbox controller mapping, so you click SQUARE for the X on the Xbox controller and TRIANGLE for Y to go back.
You have to go to Documents/Assassin's Creed Syndacate and open AC, scroll down to [Wireless Controller DefaultBindings] and copy this :
