Ac 1 weird lag issues and controller numbered instead of letters, completely fixed when transferred to my steam deck. How?

So this is a long story. But to keep it short. Ac 1 has a weird problem where it lags or just stops for a second and then continues. I saw people say it’s Ubisoft servers or something. I also had this problem of my actual Xbox 360 controller not being registered as an Xbox 360 controller by ac 1 even though I had controller input as Xbox 360 and steam knows what kind of controller I’m using cause I can use big screen with it. So all my problems got completely erased when I transferred, and I mean transferred not downloaded by itself, the game to my steam deck and every single problem gone. No lag, and it even understands my controllers and shows what letter button to press or trigger(forgot to mention ac 1 for some reason doesn’t like the triggers on pc but completely fine on steam deck) so really my main questions are how did this fix my issues and how can I bring them over to my fix them on my pc like how can I get ac to understand my controller type and to not lag every 2 seconds?
