what version to get? steam? GOG? Uplay?
which version has updated textures and added subtitles?

None of this have updated textures and subtitles. They are equal.

This is the first AC dude, they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about it. All platforms have the same version.

The 3 versions of the game are the same, but the GOG version also includes some nice extras that the other versions lack, like the soundtracks. Plus, It's DRM-Free:

Why can't i use my xbox 360 controller with this game... i set it for that in the settings and still nothing.... any help would be great.
