Playstation Buttons

I am trying to play this using my PS5 and would like it to show the Playstation buttons for the abilities and things. I tried a thing I found for uMod but it didn't seem to allow me to change the button layout and some of the buttons were not correct anyway. I was hoping there would be an easier way to do this?

I assum you meant your PS5 controller on PC and not just on your PS5?

The game doesn't support newer controllers unfortunately and we're unable to recommend mods or additional programs ourselves I'm afraid.

I guess that is why I am having problems with my Xbox one controller. I used to play this on the Xbox and loved it. Had it on Steam for a few years and finally got round to trying it today. It recognises the Xbox one controller but the controls in the tutorial do not match up to anything and I am finding it difficult to work a few things out.

Hi there,

have you tried modifying the controller settings in Big Picture ?

- Launch the Steam client.
- In the Taskbar Corner Overflow, right-click the Steam icon and select Big Picture.
- Next, select LIBRARY.
- In the left pane, select Installed.
- Next, select the target game.
- From the left menu, select Manage Game Options.
- Under the Steam Input section, select Controller Options.
- In the pop up window, set Steam Input Per-Game Setting to Forced Off.

It should help you use your controller in game.

Thank you for the nice feedback Somnia. We are still present in all of our Assassin's Creed forums on Steam. We often find the forums tend to get busy after a Steam sale!

Do you need any help with your controller options?

The game will work with a controller, but unfortunately you must perform some tweaks in the Steam settings as Ubi-Cintre mentioned above to get the game to recognize the controller you have connected.
