Uplay FPS counter not working?
So i have this game (AC1) on Uplay, and I want to see my fps without having to use something like Fraps. I have "Show FPS counter in-game" box ticked, as well as "Enable in-game overlay" ticked, but it still doesn't show in-game. Any help would be much appreciated

Yes, I also have the same problem, fps counter from uplay not working. Probably because the game doesn't need uplay and completely bypassing uplay when launching.

well, i only have the game on Uplay (not steam), so that's not the issue.

I can direct you to a nice, little program yet powerful which costs like 30€.
The name is Movavi Game Recorder. It shows you your FPS counter, the DirectX version of the game you're playing, shown as "DX10 32bit" (for example) and the drive's space remaining.
When you press F10, the default key for recording, the Movavi counter toggles from green to red (red: recording). You press again F10 for stopping recording and F8 for screenshots by default and it will display "Screenshot has been taken".

It doesn't have video editing like Camtasia (but this one costs 10 times more than Movavi). The recording format is mp4 and the result on YouTube is very very close to your raw recorded video. For example, 1080p in full screen on YouTube looks very nice.

The url is:
https://www.movavi.com/game-capture/

Hope this helps.

Well, I don't have any need for recording software, I just want to use Uplay's own FPS counter in-game (which shouldn't be an issue, but apparently is).

Thanks for the suggestion though!
