Steam Achievements
Honestly, there should be steam achievements in this game. It would make it so much more rewarding. They have achievements on console, so why not on steam?

It was 2008. It was early days. Even Steam implement achievements only in 2009 or so.

AC II had Uplay actions and Brotherhood and upward had either achievements in-game on all platforms or, starting with Revelations, achievements through Uplay.

It's kind of annoying how Ubisoft doesn't add achievements for some of their games on Steam. How come Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey have achievements, but Rayman Origins/Legends, some other Assassin's Creed games and other purely Ubisoft based games don't have it...? It doesn't make sense
