Also adding this, would love to play this on Linux.
Currently crashes with Proton.
+1, can't make it work, crashes at launch... Any clue on why it does that ?

Not even through steam play? you won't even have to make a native port. Just find out why the game won't run through proton and I'm sure someone in the community will help

I see.

PICO PARK does not make a game engine.
I think something is happening around the initialization.

I don't have a Linux environment at hand, so I'd like to ask someone who can put an exe here to investigate.

How can we upload an exe file?
Also, this link might be useful for you to find the error:

Sorry for late.

If you are a Linux user and can help, please get the test_linux.zip from here.
http://tecopark.com/test_linux.zip

I have prepared three different exe's for investigation.

If there is no problem with pico_park_test.exe, result.txt will be created in the same directory and it will say Success.
If pico_park_test2.exe has no problems, result2.txt will be created in the same directory and will say Success.
If there is no problem with pico_park_test3.exe, result3.txt will be created in the same directory and will say Success.

If you are using Proton on Linux and can help, please try pico_park_test.exe, pico_park_test2.exe, and pico_park_test3.exe without any problems and leave a comment.

For pico_park_test.exe and pico_park_test2.exe I used proton version 6.3-6 and got the result.txt saying success. For pico_park_test3.exe I did not. The outcome for test 1 and 2 was an instant crash because it said steam needs to be running. I don't know if that was meant to happen for the test or not be regardless the txt still says success for those 2

Thanks for the info !

Your results for pico_park_test.exe and pico_park_test2.exe are exactly what I assumed they would be.

I have added a new test exe.
http://tecopark.com/test_linux2.zip

pico_park_test4.exe
If successful, result4.txt will be created and the exe will exit.

pico_park_test5.exe
This will create result5.txt, and if all is successful, the txt will contain check1 through check18, and finally success will be written.
Can you please check if the result5.txt file has reached the end or not?

If you can help me, please let me know result.
