Probably not but any chance you all can either mod or make jade fit better on mountains?

I remember playing this frequently and when placing my town center would look for mountains that have the gem icon and set up somewhere around them to get the occasional jade.

However since I don't know how long ago, I've been doing the same thing but finding that mines simply can't reach the jade stone so it never adds any jade to my inventory because the mine can't overlap the gem.

Could or is there already a mod that can make it so that it happens that the gem icon is placed closer to the edge of a mountain in hopes that we can build more mines that can actually get jade once in a while?

I said probably not in the title but was hoping the devs could tweak the map generation to make better placement of the gem icons on mountains. The last 4 or 5 games that I started thjere were zero mountains that had the gem icon that could be reached by placing a mine on it.

The stone just makes the area where it can be found, it doesnt have to be touching the icon. You have to unlock jade mining to get it.

Oh okay, because last I played, when I would try to place a mine, it would tell me if it was in the range, it had some extra bit of info on the tool tip if it was placed within reach of the gem icon. I'll try again, thanks for the info.
