Smithy not making tools and other problems

Hi everyone.

My Smithy is NOT making tools.
I am able to make Iron tool and Stone tool, the rest is grey.

It has two workers, and next to it a supply of more then 1100 stone.

I select Stone tool, checjmark it, but nothing happens.
It doesnt show up as processing nor are the workings doing anything.
They are hauling leather and coal around

My textile water mill does the same
3200 flax but it doesnt produce anything.
Workers are constant resting.

All other building are doing fine.
So what's wrong here?

I had similar problems with my builders and I think my water carriers but couldn't be sure. I started a new game and it worked better but I keep having goods I've traded for or gotten as an event reward vanish without appearing in my warehouses, so there seem to be a few bugs

Iron tools are better, making stone is a waste of time. Iron needs both iron and wood. Make sure you have a storage yard or warehouse with the required materials nearby, so your workers don't have to travel far to get them.

Be sure to click the photo of it on top of the screen and not just selecting the check mark. Some items can be made with many items, and you can select some or all depending on resources. if there is a question mark above the building, then nothing was chosen properly.
