For those that didn't read the original post turning off cathedrals doesn't prevent lanterns from being consumed by people.
and about the oil stock did they consume it ?
I have population of around 2100 and 8 churches
40 x 12 = 480 per year per building
8 x 480 = 3840 per year
my production is at 3600-ish and i can see the hapiness fluctuate when churches run out of lanterns.
The production tab is not going to reflect the consumption, i presume it's because its NOT the people who consume lanterns but the building itself.
