Food impossible
Only I notice that the consumption of food is exaggerated ... it takes too many people to make food to survive, when there is also need for more

you are def doing something wrong. It is easy to get over 10k surplus
what crops you using, fertilizer? fishing? you making veggy salads? as tier 2 food keeps people full longer then basic food.

Pull off a classic Banished move: make some Forest Nodes.

Gatherer+Hunter+Forester. Set Forester to Plant only. This will increase the yield for both the Gatherers and Hunters as more food spawns in dense forests.

At the beginning I make a hut for the collector, one for the hunter, one for fishing, two standard fields and if I can manage a pasture ..... it doesn't seem like little. When I start having 60 people, I struggle to get food. I can also do more, but I also need citizens to do the rest of the resources

Around 80-100 pop
2 work for compost/fertilizer , 2 fish (4 if i need a boost) 2 in the veggy cookshop (salads) 2 in farms 10x8 ea , pumpkin, lettuce, oat, cabbage or something and one person for beans. (9 ppl farming total) 3 in a gathers shop with one forester near it to get the trees mature. and i have well over 10k food surplus. oh and one person each in a pasture. one bison, one duck.

closing in on 120 pop I start converting the farms into plantations one by one. not adding more yet, added a butcher, salt and 2 curing. one for fish, one for chops. again WELL over 10K surplus. I sell A LOT of fish off.

say 80-100 population I would have roughly 20 working for food. getting fertilizer going on fields is pretty important to boost its production big time. Also the new veggy shop to make salads is kinda broken for early game, its to easy. sure you loose 1/2 of your food production to make them, but people who get simple food over raw are happier, healthier and a salad unit will keep them full longer then raw food. makes it to easy as before it wasnt until salted fish/meat or the bbq shop did you get the bonus.

Early bread , I think its called peasants bread now is easy to get going too and you can make a boat of it to feed everyone.
