Report a translation problem
So far, I know you can make them now (after trade update introduced factions) but is that really the only way? I can understand that getting coins off the dock is bit too easy but the caravan doesn't give me coins either... that is not what I understand as "trade" or "economy".
Example: you research letherworks, buy 1000 leather for 5000 silver, make shoes for the villagers and sell whats left to the trading partners to get other stuff you need.
In the process you gain reputation, can build better fields, or make high quality cloth from cotton and so on.
