Well when i click on the hunter cabin a blue circle area appears around it and i thought that was its AOE. I wouldn't know cause i am new to the game. (got it a few hours ago) But in a lot of colony management games that's how these things work and normally you are able to move the area. I wont know really until a dev replies or someone who knows a lot about the game.
Thanks victor again for the info. I should use the help in game more it seems.😃 Hmm then I have no clue what happened to my food supply. I am going to have to keep a close eye and see if I can determine what is happening. Sorry for bothering you again.👍😔
You can use the Statistics > Production Overview table to show what your annual production of various items is as well as the consumption. This can give you a very quick view of whether or not you have a significant problem.
Another thing to just keep in mind is that your inhabitants will "stockpile" to some degree the consumables they need for survival, particularly food/water/fuel. So you can have a situation where your stockpile is low or at zero but there's still available consumables sitting in housing. So while that's still a good warning sign that you need to increase production, you may have a little more time to deal with it than your stockpile suggests (and is another way a large quantity of stockpiled resources can appear to "vanish"). An easy way to see this is click on your houses and look at how much stuff they have sitting there.
This was very helpful. I had the same question. Thank you.
There seems to be a bug around area of effect circle lingering when displaying info about a building that doesn't have an area of effect after viewing a building that does have an area of effect without closing the panel.
That is, click on the marketplace (or any building with an area of effect), then without closing the building info panel on the left (or right clicking) click on the hunters cabin (or any other building that does not have an area of effect) and the area of effect of the previously viewed building remains visible.
