Market fluctuations (warning, contains spoilers for one of the endings and a few mechanics you might not have realised exist)
So it seems the game decided it hates me.
Upon getting the intestines achievement by buying over 30 large ones to fulfill the largest hull with them, I decided to do as many quest requests as I can to see as many endings as I can in this playthrough, and in process of earning a few endings and continuing, significantly decreased my wealth.

In that process I had started up a farm with souls, but market nosedove 3 times in a week, leaving mythic brains priced at 2k while I bought them at 8+, with intention of selling at 15+. No problem, I thought, and decided to wait for a bit.

To my dismay, Harvester One came in and had a chat with me. And another. And one more. And another to top it all off, leaving me at negative 120k balance with a hull full of cheapo organs and no feasible path to recovery apart from waiting :mindblown:

Having the inventory full of bones and brains surrounded by souls, my logic was that I could probably get to positive balance if I wait long enough.
Drumroll, please...

Market stagnation. Everything is priced at 0 :mrb:
Now granted, I can buy shares (which is exactly what I did), but it is a bit funny that for the past ~20-30 game days out of my 87 days playthrough so far, I had not done a single trade :Evilstaff:

:eleven: would sell my organs that I don't use for 150k again.
:finchjournal:

Edit #1:
2 days later:
On a distant huskworld, millions die in a single, mysterious night — leaving their organs intact! The market rejoices and asks no questions.

Edit #2:
Not a day later. Famine strikes along the Ringed Byways, reducing the condition of the organs left behind. The market crashes!
1 day later I become target for Harvester One again.
