Need help with crystal cave

after getting to the main generator, it said on a note that the code to the containment room is written on the walls of the emergency room. There is no code on the walls of the room and the crystal covered monster with green vision keeps spawn camping and killing me with his sonar boom. I am so stuck, help appreciated.
