Two new chapters available!

Hello everyone,

in case you haven't already seen the news : today we are releasing two brand new chapters for Machinika, for free! :)
(just update your game through the launcher to get them.)

If you have already finished the game : you can find the new chapters in the Chapter Selection menu. (chapters 7 & 8)

And if you haven't finished the game yet, just play it normally, and you'll get them. :)

This release also include a couple bug fixes:
- Bug fix on the screwdriver tool, where the tool woudn't work even if you had found the right pattern.
- In case of several monitors the cursor can no longer 'exit' the game window.
- In case of several monitors the screen resolution is no longer wrong. (if you still have a problem, go to the Settings and change the resolution manually)

Correct. Right now, the level 9 is the same. But we plan to update it in the coming days to include content from the new chapters. :)
(we wanted to have it ready today, but we couldn't.)

hi i will say here what i say on the update note as it seem to be the corect place.
Its a realy nice update but i encounter some bugs:
-the "clic to continue" screen dont register a clic -> an alt+tab resolve it
-in the final level when i resovle the puzel on the left harm rest the hologram of helmet pop up and then black screen. if i right clic the audio seem to zoom out but my corsor apere only when i press escap and the menue dont show up.

Hello,
we are really sorry about this bug. :( We just found about it, and we are working on an update right now which will be online very soon.

Until then it is possible to load the next chapter :
- the trick is to be able to click right on the text where it says "click to continue". (Which is hard since the mouse cursor is not visible on this screen... )
- The best way is to Alt+Tab out,
- position your cursor in the center of the screen,
- Alt+tab back in the game and click.

Is there a way to force a check for an update? I saw the notice and re-downloaded the game (I made room for other games) and it's still on version 1.0. I've restarted steam and my computer, and messed with the update settings, but it shows no update.

For me the new chapters appeared, but the final chapter doesn't use the two new parts yet.

I played this game last year. Loved it. Redownloaded it now to play the new content. Unfortunately it keeps hanging up when in the second part of chapter 7, when trying to assemble the machine. It seems as if the game is minimizing and freezes steam completely. Only way to exit is task manager. I hope you can look into it. Thanks.
