nope i cant iam not using the HMD´s audio or microphone(iam using my dedicated pc´s soundcard) so iam forced to hardware mute myself wich is very annoying as i cannot talk to people in discord as i also would be talking in game constantly.
Same problem with people who would use a wireless headset while in vr.
It seriously blows my mind that, living in todays world, with the toxic wasteland that is the internet, and knowing how open mic voip always ends up, Devs haven't figured out that push to talk should be a standard option in any video game with voip.
People are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around and it is really hard to concentrate on learning the game. No matter what I did I couldnt mute other people in any of the settings. Only way was to disable the sound entirely!
You can mute other players by going to Social in the watch menu, then clicking on the name of the player that you want to mute, then there should be a mute button available. I totally understand why you couldn't find it though, it's a bit tucked away in the menus.
Additionally if you'd like to blanket mute all other players then you should be able to turn the Voices volume slider in the Settings menu down to 0.
