How to play single player against the AI and avoid the lobby? As soon as I launched the game, I was put into a lobby with other people and I didn't like that.

We don't have private taverns yet, but you can create a new tavern from the watch menu. You would be the only person in there unless someone else switches to it

So there's no way to prevent others from switching to it? The game says it supports single player; I'm just trying to figure out how to do that.

And under About the Game it says 'Play alone against AI.'

By that we mean you can play single player, as in multiplayer isn't required for AI battles. There is no way to play alone yet though, it is a planned feature
