game starts and load ininfinately

so i wanna play this game atelier firis and itl load up the game and i get to the point of the loading screen with the punie saying loading but nothing further no matter how long i wait and it worked before this recent update but now its not working sadly:( any solutions would be lovly my pc spec and all is well its jst not loading now

I'm also having this problem, and had it a while back too. I remember there was some series of bizarre hoops I had to jump through to get the game to load, but I don't remember exactly what they were. This really isn't acceptable for the game to be in a state where so many people seem to be having the same issue. Exiting out of the game and relaunching, validating the game files, and even uninstalling and reinstalling haven't helped. Having a controller plugged in or not also doesn't seem to change anything. This is ridiculous.

it works for me, might be a spec incompatability, ive heard of games not liking certain CPUS and GPUs. you 3 might want to post your CPU and GPU manufacturer and model.
im using a AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and a ASUS TUF GTX 1650 GAMING OC (based on a nvidia GTX 1650)

this probably wont help but maybe try atelier sync fix i have that installed. but never had issues launching

to install use steam to browse to game files, and extract "d3d11.dll" next to the game EXEs.

if the game verifies correctly, sometimes steam has files corrupted just right that they verify correctly but dont work. maybe try to redownload the game.

I also have this problem for some Atelier games and what most did work was just to close down the game and restart it.
After that it worked for me until i need to restart/shutdown my pc.

I still have this problem. Over 50 hours of my "playtime" are from trying to get it to load past puni. At first, it worked to not fullscreen it, open on a fresh startup of pc, verify files, and then maybe.

Now never.

I am so sad because this is one of my top 3 favorite atelier games, and I have played all of them (american) newgame+, including Firis on PS3. Really wish I could relive the nostalgia.
