Spyhunter re-incarnated.
Stylish visuals, cinematic camera. Great voice overs. Music is spot on.
Doesnt take itself too seriously but execution is top notch.
Just some old school uncomplicated fun.

Big surprise that this Agent Intercept. Here's a list of +/-:

• A uniquely skill-based gameplay, which is simple (analog or digital directional control + boost button + shoot button). Handling is very precise. All keys/buttons are remapable
  
  
• Local scores to beat to unlock intel (cards) about the story, and also giving access to online ladderboards. There's a plethora of different circuits with the 3 additional score attack game modes, which offers more than enough replayability and challenge
  
  
• A story to follow throughout the levels, it's overall very successful, somewhat cliché but there is just the amount necessary to be in the mood
  
  
• A professional production: Music, voice-over, Art, UI, there's a lot of consistency and quality in the art direction and game design
  
  NB: Advanced settings to adjust graphics on PC. I read that some say this game is a mobile port, knowing that today all game engines are cross-platform; in this version the UI and graphics are optimized for 4K with full graphic options, gamepad rumble, key bindings, etc. all that is needed to play on PC

• In campaign mode, there are sometimes too many cutscenes that interrupt the player's action (but they are skipable)
  
  
• Only 3 worlds: coast, arctic and desert. I would have liked a fourth decor for more variety (jungle?)

To conclude, this is an excellent game that will appeal to arcade fans or newcomers, congratulations to the studio for the work done, hoping to see more games like this in the future on the indie game scene

I can definitely see why people like this; it's stylish and many are still nostalgic for SpyHunter. However, while the voice acting, presentation, tone, and story are all nice, it's all particularly insubstantial and too expensive; you're paying more for the game's production value than the experience. I like that it's not a parody and that it's sincere about being a spy story; it's lighthearted fun and I had a good time with the story.

Which is exactly why I hated the requirements for unlocking new missions by doing arbitrary side objectives in each stage, many of which are bloody infuriating in how precise they require you to be. "Pick up three 500 point tokens," it says, neglecting to mention that there are only three 500 point tokens in any stage and, if you miss one, you have to start all over.

There's too little you control in Agent Intercept; you barely even feel like you're boosting. Whenever you pick up a weapon unsatisfyingly like a Mario Kart power-up, you get about enough ammo to deal with maybe three vehicles. I expect a bit more from a spy car, really. I just wish it felt more free and empowering for being a spy vehicle, and for the gameplay to match. I know SpyHunter was by no means open but it feels like Grand Theft Auto compared to this (not that I'm saying this game needs to be a wide open sandbox to work; linearity is cool but feeling like I exist purely on rails is not).

I recommend getting this on your mobile device, since this is a port and at least there are no microtransactions.

This feels like a perfect merge of Spyhunter and the general gameplay structure of Starfox in all the right ways, and I'm here for it. If you have even a PASSING interest in shooty spy cars that can transform, this will hit the mark perfectly.

Remake of 1983 "Spy Hunter" for mobile for PC (sic)

Pros:
- looks cool. Very cinematic. Probably the most cinematic game I ever played.
- gives strong James Bond-ish vibe, if you're into such things

Cons:
- there isn't really much to do. Entire game is a mix of QTE and "driving" left and right to avoid obstacles / hit enemies, from which many can be just ignored anyway. Missiles are homing so no need to aim either.
- putting fire button under "Shift" is not a best idea. You know what happens if you press left Shift 5 times, right?

I had a lot of fun with this one, it had a lot of interesting ideas all based around the concept of this one vehicle with many forms. I also loved the art style throughout the game and the voice acting was also great to listen to. If you like what you see you'll basically get that throughout the game through different modes and of course different vehicles.

Pros:
+ Really nice and simple art style
+ Fun gameplay (only gets repetitive if you need to redo levels over and over)
+ Interesting story with interesting ways to allow you as a car defeat threats
+ Lots of different missions (with different terrains, vehicles, enemies and weapons)
+ Good voice acting

Cons:
- The car can seem really slow at some points and I found myself pushing the boost button almost all the time just to go faster
- I felt like 80-90% f the game was voice acted and the other parts had one word and you needed to read the rest yourself

For being an expanded port of "just" a mobile game, this one's great.

My only two complaints are irregular, but severe crashes and the fact that the campaign is rather short.
Though, regarding the latter, Score-Hunters will still have plenty of fun with the arcade mode.

Fantastic little game. Shame it doesn't get more press. Perfect on Steam Deck. Highly recommended.

-Tries to entertain you in a new way in every level. The game keeps the player in dynamics constantly and really addictive.

-The game looks amazing with non standard minimalist style is used and very cool staging of cut-scenes.

-Easy to learn hard to master (not so hard, this game still casual).

-Very cool spy-soundtrack.


Achievements:


You need to complete all story missions, all side missions, complete all tasks for them + complete on the 1st place in the ranking in “The score attack”, “Time attack” and “Race game”.
Some achievements says "you need to take first place in the world ranking", but this means just the ranking against CPU, not real players!
For pop-ups most of the achievements, you must restart the game and after in the main menu, it will pop-up.

This game is quite fun!
It's a bit like a modern, 3D, Spy Hunter game, with colourful graphics, and an Eurospy plot full of secret agents, super villains, and double-crossings.

Basically, you drive a car (that can transform into a boat, or a plane, or adapt to a multitude of terrain), and you run around taking out enemies (by shooting or hitting them), while dodging all that is thrown your way.

Simple gameplay, but a rather nice, over the top, arcade-ish experience.

Besides the story mode (which is a bit on the short side; 3 chapters, with 5 missions each), there are a number of side missions to keep you busy for a bit longer, and there's a time attack mode to add some additional replayability to the game.
But hopefully, the developers will consider adding more content to the game in the future, either as updates or DLCs.

If you like the genre, this one is well worth a look!
