SmurfoGlider upgrades do nothing?

Just purchased both upgrades. It seems to handle the same, but maybe I just can't tell the difference. More importantly, the 3x Flight Duration upgrade literally does nothing. The game confirms I do have it as it shows me having three dots alongside my tank meter, but when the first dot is expended and the tank runs out I just fall to the ground without the other two dots doing anything.

Just realized that the upgrade DOES work, but it's mistranslated. it doesn't let you fly 3x longer, it lets you deploy your SmurfoGlider three times before landing. I guess so you can more easily turn in the air or something? Weird.

Do you need to wait to a certain point to unlock the upgrades? I have enough and it won't let me buy the upgrade!

You can't buy upgrades until Handy opens his shop, which happens around Chapter 3.

Oh thanks! Weird I could see some unlocked ones but couldn't buy them despite showing the price haha!
