DENIED air support

Is there any way to know why Air Support, be it UAVs or helos, is DENIED? For arty I at least get BUSY or EMPTY but zero info on why I can't call in that Apache.

You need to take a look at which scout or command squad can call them in.

DENIED on any asset means it's not available to be called in by that unit. Air Support is usually only called in by JTAC/FAC type units, while artillery can be called in by any HQ (with a time penalty).

There are actually two types of spotting units that have the same icon with binoculars: forward observers (which may request the arty support only) and air control teams (those guys may request both the arty and air strikes). I remember exact problem as TS had when played 4th mission of Ukrainian campaign with no possibility to ask for air support for a long time (although I had few spotting groups) - finally I managed to find out that all air control units were wasted right after the start of mission by russiian barrage and waiting for restriction removal is pointless))
