What a joke imo. Harder than any boss fight x2. Can't heal during the fight plus have to deal with umbral enemies left and right. The umbral eye that's suppost to allow only wither damage while charging a heavy R2 barely works. Am I missing something here? All I want is some umbral scourings so I can buy stuff.

There's some niche spots mobs won't spawn in that makes the Scarlet Shadow manageable. I'd recommend slotting the Marco the Axe eye instead of Loash since the trash mobs won't engage with you and I'm certain it lowers your Dread resistance significantly, so you get more frequent encounters with the Scarlet Shadow. It's like the thing it drops is a direct counter for it.

As for the eye of Loash, you only get hyper-armour for one enemy attack. You get hit multiple times, it does nothing. It also doesn't function while you're swinging, ONLY when charging. It's easily one of the most busted eyes as is.

ya them make him rly op and crap. in past you was possible to lure him in traps but now you get insta killed. it heal after vanish a while etc. i think it have now also spikes on spots where you can hide from it. so far you dont have a pretty op build it will alway 1-2hit you and you not possible to kill it.

Yes, the Irony. red wraith is indeed more powerful than bosses and on top of tha you can't heal. Now they can even drain your hp.

I got his ass, felt good as heck too. Used Large Manastone clusters with Invigorating Aura for healing. Also a bit of luck from the umbral enemies not hitting me with any of the tougher ones.

I've never encountered the Scarlet Shadow, I usually GTFO when it's close to appearing. Are you telling me the Umbral eye it drops makes it so that enemies in Umbral just ignore you completely?

Don't be surprised, but what you said is done by many people already. The irony is the red wraith is stronger than 100% of the boss. That is the real stupid issue.

That in and by itself would make a big difference. Reduces the odd of being attacked in the big a horde of these, and gives a safe pool of wither health restore trash.
