If you wanna be Radiance Captain Noodle Arms, go for Pieta's Sword or possibly the Radiant Purifier Polearm.

Or literally anything once you get your hands on the rune that removes a weapon's weight and stat requirements.

Pieta sword has good reach, fast swing and scales highly off just Radiance and you get it early game. best sword for radiance beg, mid and even end game. It can also proc smite which does bonus damage.

I personally only utilize Inferno Builds, but if I had a nickel for every generic Radiance build using Tancred's Armor with Pieta's Sword I find in PvP...

I'd have 50 bucks.

Pretty much the go-to loadout for Radiance builds, and is telling how much more effective it is than other Radiance loadouts. But honestly? I'd say experiment and find something interesting that works for you.

My first character is/was a Radiance build.
Very early on, I figured I'd also be using Pieta's Sword, but I struggled with gathering the Scourings needed to buy the thing.

I eventually got impatient and instead went and picked up a Grand Sword, Bloody Glory.
Haven't looked back since.

Requires 20 STR and 32 RAD. Slow to swing, but especially with the benefit of a Ruq rune you are able to stagger most enemies out of any action with just a single two-handed light attack.

I've also used other Radiance scaling Grand Swords and Grand Hammers.

Giant weapons are super satisfying.

I'm actually having difficulty adjusting to the tiny dual wielded weapon style now, on my new lower level Inferno character.

Really missing the crushing power of a grand weapon.

Most really good Inferno weapons are in the late game. Like, Bramis Castle late. I personally use the Damarose Cleaver grand axe, but I'd say look into getting the Fallen Lord's Sword. It's a Grand Sword that scales purely with Inferno, requires only 30 INF, and is found in the Lower Calroth area before the Spurned Progeny.

Pieta's Sword is most likely the best for lightweight weapons. After that, it'd be Judge Cleric's Radiant Sword and the Radiant Purifier Polearm.

I have an almost pure radiance character, I'm using judge clerics spear as it's one of the only weapons with very low non-radiance requirements and has S scaling for radiance.

The spear moveset kind of sucks tbh, no horizontal crowd clearing attacks. Going to try dual wielding them to fix that issue.

This. Only downside is having to grind for the key and then blitz to its location but other than that it smashes really well. Getting it early game can make things easier too.
