Bug: Can't Skip Boss Cutscenes With Latest Update

Worked fine on Sunday. With the newest patch, pressing any button except A shows "(A) Skip" during a boss cutscene, but pressing and holding A hides the prompt and does nothing. All other "press and hold (A)" interactions in the game work just fine, but not cutscene skipping. Tried on a high spec PC, low spec PC, as well as Steam Deck to see if it was a system specific thing, but no luck.

Makes the game nearly unplayable when you encounter a major boss fight :X

Wiggle the mouse and then gamepad will respond to holding to skip.

Yeah you have to click the mouse first then cancel.
My game is running worse since these patches.

Use "E" on keyboard instead even if you have gamepad connected.
