Prices in this ghame are ridiculous
Devs, are you being serious with all those prices? 2500 for a single vestige seed? 1500 for a local version of homeward bone? Why is blacksmith eating all your vigor to upgrade a single weapon to +10? Level ups are extrremely overpriced as well. What is it with those numbers?
Are we supposed to spent hours and hours farming in umbral to be able to buy some basic consumables? Is this the definition of entertainment to you?

i agree with the vestige seed prices are too high, the seed and bed mechanic is poorly implimented for it to be costing that much

Vestige seeds and bones drops from the fat moth ladies.

There is one that is fairly alone so easy to farm near the bellroom vestige on the other side of the water. Up the path there you can place a vestige for easy back and forth between it.

Also a common spot for the red lanterns that gives 3 eyes to spawn.

Each run gives a bit over 1k vigor, and large mana crystal with seeds and bones being rng.

i think the problem is more so how little vigor you get from killing enemies. if you got more rewarded for killing enemies, it wouldn't feel so bad. to me, anyway. i also think they could've just done away with the single use vestige seeds and give some permanent item you'd find along the way that would let you unlock and move the seedling checkpoint to the flower bed you need it at. save everyone that 2500 vigor

It still requires intense farming. Which is once again dumb to do in order to get such simple consumables. It feels to be intended by devs and that is simply horrible design choice.

Yeah, not fond of the need to farm vestiage seeds to chill with the temp vestiges.

Could have made it so that resting on a vestige in an area gave you 1-2 seeds you could place freely within it, having to swap them out as you progress that area.

Intense farming? The drop rate is high. If you aren't in NG+ and are running out of seeds you're overusing them.

How can you "overuse" something which is really hard to come by in the first place?

Thats the point they arent "really hard" to come by. You can either buy em or farm em just find a moth chick near a checkpoint and farm em a bit not that hard or rare at all.

Alright, the most recent patch managed to lower the price of seeds. It's a step in the right direction but more adjustments are still required.

Only place you really need to plant couple vestiges in my opinion is depths (and maybe Leprosarium). It is only place where the teleport vestige is in the end of level instead of beginning.
And dying there means you teleport back to upper Calrath wait elevator minute to get up another minute to back down and then run whole long level again.

But if you pluck them every where, then hopping to umbral realm killing those flying moth enemies has chance to drop them.
One of the best place to farm them is near calrath pillar pluck seed near that pillar and go umbral there is one right next to seed place)

I am at end game, never bought a seed and never farmed them... Alot of problems in this game you can just run past. I am trying to beat it as fast as I can now before you babies make them nerf the game into the ground.
Total BS, the prices are perfectly fine I never bought a seed, I just got stuck int the swamp thinking I need to get to the other side to open the door in the water in the Umbral, I "farmed" the area for an hours or more try trying to find the way. Ever since then I feel over-leveled for any boss. I also go back and level up when I do not know the way, but you can actually level up without resetting, but I ended up resetting quote a lot because I wanted to do the way I discovered with more heals, but I also rushed a lot when I was frustrated with dying way into the level, some enemies actually not follow you for that far.

I think the level up is actually a bit to cheap, the items fine. Upgrades are not supposed to make you easy get your 2nd +10 weapon or whatever you are doing. Its designed so you upgrade slowly while you play through the game. My main in at +7 now and I never had an issue with the prices, if they would be cheaper that would mean I would be even more over-leveled.

And why would you buy seeds, WTF are you doing? You can rush through the areas as soon as you know the way, lots of bosses have a save point close. I always have 5 seed with me and most of the times I spend one I was getting annoyed finding out the next save point basically around the corner. You seem to spam them in every flower location you find. Makes no sense, plant them near bosses where you actually need them or on hard big locations where you died a lot b4.

First of all, I do not farm and simply make progress location after location. Which means I do not have many seeds on me because I tend to place at least one in each new location to save progress and do some other things.
By default the game doesn't provide many seeds because only boss fights guarantee the drop. If the player wants more, it is rather buy in hub or farm specific enemies.
