- Fixed a farming spot issue with Scarlet Shadow where he would fall through the world on his own for every spawn. Now, if you leave your character to farm on their own, you might find them dead when you return.

now people have to actually play the game.

I don't understand why you would pay for a game to literally afk to win.

don't forget soul like games you exp for the OG, you want to lvl high, need a lot to upgraded item to max to do the most dps, and buy items as well so people do these to skip the time consuming stuff. + one of the items you get is Umbral Scouring is where you get boss items in this game as well.

One of the problems with this game is that why do you need to grind or farm to even level up in the first place? Yeah Elden Ring and even DS3/Bloodborne had that to a small extent but its not nearly as bad as it is in LotF. SO many bad game design choices were made with this game and its such a shame bc this game has so much potential

so what kind of "fix" did they put in? if the game detects you idling in that spot for long it'll spawn mobs on you or something?

If the Magic actually hit as hard as Weapons do ... and you can spam those infinitely ... maybe I wouldn't feel like I needed to get like 40 levels into Radiant to make the spell you start with hit harder than the wooden stick you pick up in the beginning of the game lol.

For souls games it can be. The problem lies primarily in the enemy design and alot of artifical difficulty, practically forcing the player to grind up for levels (and vigor seeds bc you have to choose and badly implimented mechanic but a cool idea) when the game could really use much better game design choices. The only other souls game i remember having to grind levels for was literally in Elden Ring before Malenia bc i was getting my ass kicked lol

well tbf since magic is infinite without mana cost its understandable they are trash compared to weapons, wouldn't want to just speed run with infinite magic but I do get that mage builds should exist I mean after all they did sell off inferno to seem like everyone's starter lol

What the heck are you on about? The only place I farmed XP in this game was because I wanted something specific, not to beat a boss or anything like this. I feel like what the game gives you is plenty unless you're a complete screw up and think bosses and area enemies are supposed to die in one hit.

1. Press win+r and run this command steam://open/console to enable console
2. Run this command in steam console: download_depot 1501750 1501751 7829173332273131029
3. Once the download is complete go to Steam\steamapps\content\app_1501750\depot_1501751\LOTF2\Binaries\Win64
4. Create a text file named steam_appid.txt open it and put 1501750 in it, save
5. Launch LOTF2-Win64-Shipping.exe
6. Now you have an older version of the game client where this glitch is not patched, do your thing and once you are done just launch your regular game client through team, the progress will save because both games are using the same save files.
