You are doing too little damage
Too many monsters
Too many shooters
Map is useless
The shooting range of mages and archers is too long
Bonfires are too few and far away
Boss fights take too long
To easily kill bosses you need to parry attacks
Blocking with a shield is useless
YOU CAN'T DO A BUILD WITH A SHIELD - because by blocking damage you will take damage
No imba spells to oneshot boses
After 10 hours of play I have 0 new spells as a pyromancer
Boss damage is inadequate
Your HP is too low
NO HORSE

The game tries to be like Dark Souls in every way but doesn't give me the option to play with a shield I don't want to parry and dodge

I completed all Dark Souls in 20-30 hours, Elden ring in 40, here in 15 hours I completed 10% of the game, since I die everywhere it turns out I need 150 hours to complete it

Or you can learn how to play. Bosses (so far anyway) are incredibly easy and easily staggered with my big ass hammer. You're playing a class the game calls advanced and complaining that you're having a hard time? LOL.

You hit hard and enemies hit hard...
In Elden Ring you do no damage and enemies do a lot of damage.
You can make your own bonfires.
Boss fights are quite easy and can be done very quickly.
I'm literally running a shield build.
While being a radiance build I have 4 different pyromancy spells 8 hours into gameplay (maybe explore?).
No need for a horse, not an open world.

Ive beaten several bosses now in less than 1 minute each. They are so easy to bully out of existence its not even funny.

Its not that much harder then any other comparable game. The first boss is an exception, she is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and unbalanced. But its unnecessarily trail and error ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and clunky fighting in close corners, stupid unfair ♥♥♥♥♥ grab you out off walls ... enemy spam as "difficulty" instead of having harder movesets ... Souls did many of the same mistakes and they literally copy paste Souls like to a fault, some of the worst and unfun pasts of it, with like falling down, frustrating you for the sake of frustrating you ...

Just like in most souls like
I dont know I am one shooting most normal monsters
I love when there is a lot of enemies so I can just AOE them down in one hit
That is a fair point
I would not say to long but the shot can adjust itself a lot before being fired resulting in you getting hit more often than you should
Plenty of bonfires and shortcuts so not really an issue if you played for long enough
That is true, bosses are a bit to tanky.
Never parried once during boss fight. Dodge and sprint is my tactics just like any other DS game

I wish I recorded one boss fight where I was getting one shoot by a aoe attack....

WHY ????

You should not compare this game to elden ring. That is like comparing skyrim to something like baldurs gate. Both are rpgs but fundamentally offer a different experience. If anything compare this game to Dark souls or bloodborne if you want as those are closer to the design philosophy of LOTF.

This game is a lot easier than FS titles. The dodge window is HUGE, and you dont need to worry about dodging the actual attack. Face hug a boss and tap that B button when they go to hit you.

The same area has a catalyst you need to give them. Once you rest they free themself, and you can find them outside where you fought the boss.

Seeing your last main boss is Hushed Saint, you should continue to FITZROY'S GORGE>LOWER CALRATH>UPPER CALRATH(next main Boss). Don't go to bellrise/PATH OF DEVOTION/MANSE OF THE HALLOWED BROTHERS. Those mob will one-shot you. You unlock the rune and you will melt boss and mob easily. Since you did not unlock the pyro, you forgot to rescue the TORTURED PRISONER. She is at Skyrest Bridge. Too many monsters mean you stay Umbral realm too long.
