hacked to level 60, character borked.

anyone else experiencing this? second invasion i ever tried to do i immediately got hacked and booted up to level 60 with none of my stats changed, the character is just ruined.

edit: this might not be a hack. this is happening to people who haven't even been invaded, just through co-op with friends or experiencing any online interaction, and their stats are all changed to what mine were as well. bizarre.

it seems to be becoming more and more widespread. i'd rather not have this happen to more people but if it draws attention to the issue then...well.

nope. respecs won't bring my level back down and it's just...a complete mess.

now, something really interesting i've noted: this might not actually be a hack. some people are saying this happened to them without any invasion, just through co-op, and their stats were changed to the *exact same thing mine and other people's were.* i think something is catastrophically failing with the online system that's causing this.

It's not due to cheaters, it seems to be a networking issue. I had the same thing happen to me while co-oping with my friend in the same room. My character got screwed and his was fine.

Gonna guess is the scaling system not reverting back to base after the multiplayer session. That;s why i just play solo.

That is a bug not a cheater... that being said... i thought i would give the anticheat a check they made the exact same mistake FROM did with ELDEN RING, you can literally bypass the anticheat by editing 3 lines in notepad... they need to fix that ASAP.

nah, people will just find some other backdoor, they need to grow up and stop cheating in every game but nah, humanity is the definition of being a total piece of ♥♥♥♥. society just embraces it now its like "we suck and we know it but none of us got the balls to be better".

you can't, as far as i'm aware. even using CE to set your level and stats back to normal doesn't work, it'll change back to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ones on a reload.

Happened to me too but thankfully only a few hours in. The bug occurs in multiplayer I suspect only for invaders and summons but no promises.

You might be able to get cheat engine to work if you manually copy your cheated save over the backup save in the folders. I imagine thats whats causing it revert.

Respecs might at least fix the stats though your level will still be changed but I never tried myself.

Everyone should backup their saves in this game honestly. Way too many people are experiencing this bug or corrupted save files.

no but i genuinely got hacked, just encountered a guy while helping randos. when he kicked me i got back t my world and got the achievement for hitting lvl 100, (i was lvl 43) and when i looked at my stats i was lvl 652 and all of my stats were at 120. ruined my character after 15 hrs.
