only attack that one shot me is the aoe. if you play close range, hes pretty slow. just play on the hop. you can do it.

You're underleveled. There is no magical cure for taking less damage, besides your own skill or stats, more health more dmg reduction.

everything this boss does is very well telegraphed, I learned 1-2 moves each time I died and then beat it taking almost no damage

I just beat him on like 6th or 7th try and I still can't believe that such a stupid design is there.

I usually don't cry about bosses, but not being able to hit him while he is on the horse is quite stupid tbh.

But roots are not "everywhere". If you are talking about his AOE attack, it's really simple to spot and easy to dodge.

his attacks are doing frostbite damage when covered with that root stuff, i think. are you wearing armor weak to that?

Hushed saint has couple moves that were difficult to dodge or see when they come (at least for me).

Shield slam - Get hit it every time when giving him bonk in melee when trying to dodge.

Second phase teleport -> glide attack - really fast and comes when he is in the ground had really hard time to get that dodge timing because you cannot see in what direction he is going to glide and hit you.

Hushed Saint got me the most deaths in the game point where i'm now (going for the last pillar after tower of penance).

You can stun him by bursting the blue balls if he is close to one. Same with knocking him off the Pony.
