Low speed disk.

So apparently the game thinks my SSD is a low speed disk? Not sure why its assuming my m.2 SSD is a hard drive. Hopefully not affecting my performance.

Not likely, I just turned my computer on and the m.2 is under a heat sink on the mobo.

It chugs a few seconds, but the game is actually loading exceedingly faster today after whatever patch I just downloaded than it did before.

Only in the first few minutes of shader compiling now its fine

That is probably causing it more than likely. Heat could cause it too.

There are several threads about this subject. In one of them OP and few others were able to fix it after freeing more space. Guess you have a different cause for this issue then.

I did relaunch the game without the error, probably just a bug. Maybe its recognizing that I have hard disks and its just prompting the error off that.

It seems people are having mixed results with that specific Samsung 980 Drive. I see a few people in here have a 980 pro.

You could try a firmware update, but it could be other problems as well.

Seems like no matter what disk I install this game on the drive overheats. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried an m.2 Samsung 970 and m.2 990 pro, a sata connected a data add all overheat.
