Forgive me if this was asked, but I could not locate it via a quick search, Red Buff/Debuff

Every so often I get a red icon below my soul flay charges, if the game explained it, I missed it. Is this a buff/debuff, or an indication there is a fallen lantern nearby to avenge?

It would help to understand better if you posted a picture of what you are referring to. Otherwise its just guess work.

I suppose you are referring to the revenge system. Is there a lantern on the ground? If so, you can use your soulflay on it, and it will lead you to an enemy who has killed another player. Killing these enemies grants you plucked eyeballs.

I ran a google search, I am pretty sure it is the indication you are invadeable, In fact I got invaded while I had the icon on my screen and noticed it only came up in the same area. In any case I do appreciate the responses.
