Is this game open world?
Like Elden Ring where you can explore everything, and not like Lies of P where it's just a level.

Nope. There are branching paths. But def not open world.

As pointed out above, Lords is a semi-open experience, and each location is connected with at least two others.

its not like nioh, if thats what youre asking, it is one big interconnected world with bonfire type waypoints you can use to fast travel, as far as i csn tell, you can seamlessly walk through the entire world without a loading screen if you dont fast travel, which is cool.

My advice: ignore the haters, the game is very good, i've played all the soulslikes and this is one of the best ones, some really cool ideas here, it's got some issues but over all im enjoying it more than i enjoyed Lies of P which is also very good.

Agreed, though I havent played Lies of P. This is by far the best soulslike game I've played outside of fromsoft's own.

It's levels and I prefer it a lot more like that.
ER's weakest aspect was the open world even though it was what pulled so many into it and either made it trivial to grind levels or annoying to try to find the "next" level.

Here it feels like a constant dungeon once again what I grew to love to with Souls to begin with.
