Never seen this "Effect" and im more then 13 hours in.
That does not work. I have already turned it off, because I also disliked the film grain.
You're right, I have that effect too. This is an intended visual effect, similar to "being drunk"
However, I had to reduce the resolution to native 1080p to see the effect clearly.
In 2160p or 2160p with DLSS Quality, this "drunken filter" is far LESS noticeable.
So YES, this graphic effect is intentional!
I am playing at 2160P with DLSS Quality and noticed the effect directly upon entering Umbral.
Please add an option to turn it off.
At first I didn't notice it either. If you stand still in Umbral and look into the distance, you will notice that the image "wobbles"
This "wobble effect" causes a pixel shift that runs from bottom to top (to create the wobble)
And in low resolutions it looks like VHS distortion. Its a supid effect choice
Well, I say black lines, but they are more distortion lines and during the movement they seem somewhat black. A still image does not show it.
A still image does not show the effect.
First video I found for 'lords of the fallen umbral':
https://youtu.be/LrxQJXtwzy8?t=154
You can clearly see those horizontal lines moving from the bottom to the top.
