Whats the point of companions (or whatever) if he kills them while riding on his horse. He needs to put his ♥ss on the ground damn it and stay that way for a while.

all you can do really is wait until he gets off his horse and hit him as much as you can before he mounts up again i dont get it either i spent a long time during that fight just standing around waiting for him to dismount since hes invulnerable to all damage while mounted i tried hitting him it seemed to deal no damage

While he is mounted, you can actually lure him to attack you instead.
Rush and follow the trait on the ground, then dodge to the side when he comes out.

[Naked Viper]

Throw an axe/javelin or shoot an arrow/bolt at him when he is mounted and riding straight towards you. He will get knocked off. He cant be too close or too far away or it wont work. ONLY when he is riding directly towards you in a straight line this will work.

Lol guys.... just use ur lamp to blow those little blue thingies up in the path that he comes at you to dismount him... you dont have to wait for him to dismount, you can literally force him to.

Use fire, fire makes the fight quite easy, he's a root knight afterall. You can also parry him off his horse and throw a weapon or ranged attack at him, both work.

This is a fun fight but he goes on the horse way too much which has really jank hitboxes and moves on the horse and you cant even attack him on it. He went on it like every other hit lol

I did it... finally (3 hours more or less) i used all methods following trail, destroying blue ♥♥♥♥ and fire. So far it was the worst and hardest fight in game.

This fight is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, honestly watching paint dry is more entertaining.... boss spends more time in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ground than or mounted than he does fighting, Companions are also useless as they don't dodge or heal at all.. so wtf is the point in them?

I just parried his attack when he is on the horse. Knocks him off the horse too. I beat him without even using a heal that way.

Pieta can heal but its rare and random.
