Can't Sprint in Co-op??

In singleplayer I can do this. I tried rebinding the key, restarting the game, bunch of random things and I cannot sprint when I am in my friend's game.
Edit : Also,
--Have to spam sprint to get up 1 step on the ladder.
--Invisible mobs in the Umbra.
--All the Umbra stuff is black and flickering randomly.
Will keep editing stuff I run into, this was like my first 15 minutes trying with a friend.

Having the same exact issues, no sprint invisible umbra enemies and black flickering. It was fine yesterday but after 1.193 it seems beckoning a friend doesn't work. Works with randoms though

I had this issue last night for hours while cooping with someone on my friends list in the netherlands, or at least that's what his steam profile said. It happened every time I joined even after rebooting pc. We just rolled with it and still had a pretty good time tbh. I cooped all day today and never had it happen again. I assumed it had to do with how far apart we are as I'm US West, but not sure.

Had the same problem with my friend. After looking at each others build ID we realised we had different versions. I then noticed an update that he had downloaded automatically hours ago was scheduled an hour later for me. I triggered the update and everything worked fine after that.

Not sure if that was the fix or if it was a coincidence, but it would be worth a look
