You can throw an Empyrean Grenade at her to cure her as well.

Seeing as how you can't seem to kill NPC's normally (I've tried) it seems odd that rolling into her is her death sentence....

After Alt+F4 didn't work, at least Kukajin's sword was there waiting for me where she died... I'll assuming that's her name. We never got that far.

Her sword is actually pretty good too, a shame I killed her but I've been using her sword since lol

First thing I did was try to smash her to pieces, but she was indestructible for me. Hitting her multiple times, rolling in to her; nothing happened. There was something shiny behind her, so I did everything I could. I came back much later and attacked her with a throwable and all of a sudden she was saved. Made absolutely no sense to me, but her quest line progressed I guess. I got some stuff from her, she moved to the hub, and was available for a boss fight.

NPC saying get this thing off me is the issue here. If it was more like I need to find a cure then that would be more of a hint that you need to use an item or spell.

I mean its pretty obvious that in most games when a person is petrified/ turned to stone, hitting them with a big sword is probably not a good idea lol.

I literally used the grenade and it killed her.

I literally used the grenade and it killed her.

i too used a healing grenade, but i didnt throw it directly at her. i threw it at her feet, right next to her onto the ground and it worked.
