This is something all souls games do, so I don't get your problem here...Unless you mean something I'm not understanding.
If you dodge right when a boss is going to start an attack, at the start of the attack they turn around to face you in most case scenarios, both in other souls games and here.
If you mean mid-attack the enemy turns around, something must be wrong with your game because this doesn't happen to me.
Also, roll has more iframes than dodge, but it also takes you longer to recover from it.
I did not explain it quite as clear, I mean like mid/after an attack and they turn and still clip you with the attack.
its not so much of a problem the only thing that really throws me for a loop is not rolling with a single press of space lol, I really hat e the dash thing I never use it even though its the only thing you can use as rolling as I said it just suicide as it leaves you open in this game too much.
it is what it is I guess, you cant have everything they way you like it
also are you able to kill the red demon reaper thing in umeral after reaching full visibility or what ever it is
I have seen his health go down but never able to fully kill him is it possible Im DYING to try to figure it out
I don't think I've had this happen, I've fought 2 bosses so far, and no enemy has done that thing. How far are you in the game? Maybe it's an enemy I haven't seen
Also yes, it should be killable. I am not able to at all, but I'm quite sure it's just a hyper hard enemy and some crazy dude will do it no hit xD
I WANT TO BE THAT GUY
probably wont for a good few years though lmao
Also, I try to kill the ghost every time I reach max Umbral eye, but I don't actively try to wait for it, I just try it when I have the chance to do it
she has a flail that she uses and its probably whats doing it but still she turns after most attacks and kicks you back without fail most of the time.
as for the ghost I have actively tried to kill it but its super hard
Yeah it's probably a design thing, where as enemies just turn to face you when their attacks are over, but this specific one has that mechanic, which probably doesn't pair well with the specific design choice.
Not a brag but I beat her in 2 Attempts. Just pull the ghost out and 2H...
I've had the same issue and I want to assume it's mainly due to how the flail animation works not being properly telling.
Also another note: you "can" roll, it's just a double-tap -- or unlock camera and then dodge which will always be a roll however it seems to be "directional" based on the enemy or character cause I've had some instances where my character will just dodge to the opposite direction.
For example: during the Scourge Sister fight actually, I was on the ground and I tried to dodge backwards but since my character's head was towards the camera and feet towards the boss, he dodged towards the boss.
the boss was not hard, its just the whole dashing thats throwing me off. Im just use to in games like this having only rolling so the dashing when it happens is not what I expect and it gets me killed (even by little guys sometimes)
yeah its a bit weird, I would just assume get use to the dash personally as rolling in this game is kinda wack and I feel it puts you at too much of a disadvantage in fights presonally
