"Horizontal VHS Lines" In Umbral Zones?

I get a lot of horizontal lines spanning the entire screen similar to old VHS lines starting from the bottom and then going towards he top whenever I specifically enter the umbral zones, always.

These lines just loops, it looks like a VHS filter that's slapped on screen. It's only happening when I enter umbral zones, not happening when I peer inside with the lantern or outside in the normal world.

Everything else in the game works just fine, steady fps and no crashes, game runs smoothly.

Sounds like the filter is glitching. I get a wavy distortion, which I find really annoying...but it by design,

Oh my god I thought that was INTENSE screen tearing this whole time! It stressed me out whenever I was in the umbra because I thought it was something in the filter straining my system, but it was just the filter this whole time?!

Makes sense, so it seems to be the distortion filter that's glitching somehow.

It'd be great if they implement a setting for this soon if it's intentional. Filter makes the game unplayable for me atm due to eyestrain, which sucks cause otherwise I'm enjoying it so far :'o)
