No map

How gamers are expected to memorise an entire world is mad.
Why can't devs just add a map, why i hate souls games, I only buy them because RPGs are so rare.

There is a map but just not in the way you think there is. You collect maps of each area and it's a picture of the zone. The maps are under journal.

Couldnt care less about the steam community or their stupid rewards, there are no maps or i havent unlocked them yet.

I admit, you had me up until the last line (and your profile).

Dark souls didnt have a map. The fun things about the first dark souls were the joyful moments where you connected to other parts of the world where you had already been and thought WOW! There is no map needed.

This is true but Traversal wasn't nearly as bad as it is in this game. I thought I'd be getting filtered by a boss some day. In the end they did it with some of the worst level layouts I've ever seen in a souls game. Pilgrim's Perch made it obvious that I do not want more of this game.
